Attorney Adam Gittleman is an experienced Colorado Military Lawyer. Attorney Gittleman attended and graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law. While living in Colorado, Attorney Gittleman worked both as a civilian defense student attorney as well as conducted duties as a Funded Legal Education Program intern during the summers at Fort Carson. Attorney Gittleman is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.

Attorney Adam Gittleman was also on Active Duty for 10 years. After graduating West Point, he served as an Armor Officer and as a JAG. His final assignment in the Army was as the Senior Trial Counsel for U.S. Army Alaska. He then transitioned to become a civilian legal assistance attorney, and later became the Chief of Client Services for the 11th Airborne Division. He has experience with not only the Army, but with the legal systems of all branches of service. As a Service Academy Graduate, he is also familiar with the unique issues that Cadets can face.

Attorney Gittleman lived in Colorado for nearly four years, and has been licensed to practice law in Colorado since 2018. He is familiar not only with the military units there, but also the civilian legal system in the state.

All of this unique experience makes him a highly effective Colorado Military Lawyer.

Colorado is home to many diverse units, including the 4th Infantry Division, the 10th Special Forces Group, the United States Air Force Academy, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, Space Operations Command, 1st Space Brigade, and many others including a robust National Guard.

While servicemembers do have access to Trial Defense Service (TDS) or Area Defense Counsel (ADC), their offices are often overworked. Attorneys assigned there must take every case as they walk in the door, which can mean shifting priorities. While the TDS and ADC attorneys can be dedicated to their work, they are typically inexperienced and overwhelmed. Servicemembers accused of misconduct should consider hiring a Civilian Military Lawyer, who would work in conjunction with his/her TDS or ADC lawyer.

Additionally, there are often legal matters Soldiers face that span across both Trial Defense Services and the Legal Assistance Office. This can lead to frustration for Soldiers when they have to go to one office to get assistance for their Reprimand, and another office for help with their separation. Attorney Gittleman can help with any issue a servicemember is facing, and brings years of experience from both sides of the case.

Unfortunately, there are many times that questionable charges are brought against Soldiers, not only at a court-martial but also in non-judicial punishment, reprimands, and separations. This makes it even more important to have an experienced attorney who can handle your whole case.
